Stephen Colbert rides an F-16
So the Thunderbirds have been in town for the airshow. They always give rides to a few celebrities and newscasters. This week I was amazed to see "Sir Dr. Stephen Colbert" inscribed on the side of the F-16 as it took off. Sure enough, he was the given the ride of his life. I almost feel bad for him - they performed one of the most violent takeoffs I've ever seen - 0 to 10,000 feet in about 8 seconds.
