Exercise Tracking WebApp?

Does anyone know of a free website where I can track my exercise? I'd ideally like something where I can record the exercises, weights, reps, etc so that when I repeat my exercise routine I can -quickly- record the progress. Ideally this would have a mobile version of the site so I could easily input my results via my iphone. I don't want an iphone ( Read more... )

I was using calorie-counter.com [I think that's what it was called] and it had exercise tracking stuff. All free. Though I don't think it's quite what you're looking for, if you turn up zilch otherwise, it might be something to look into.

I am using fitday.com for tracking the food I eat, and while they also have an "activity" tracker, it's not what I'm looking for. I'm not so much interested in tracking the calories I burn from exercising, but rather having a 'personal trainer' in the sense that I have a list of the exercises I have to do. Tracking it in what is essentially Notepad sucks.

It seems damn likely that there would be an iPhone app for that, you know? Might be worth looking into, anyway.

Maybe. I just don't like the idea of the data being on my phone. I want it completely portable. But who knows; There might be an app that does that with a web-accessible backend where the data is stored. I'll check...

I know what you meant by that, but it still made me do a double-take...

agreeing with iPhone app speculation. Also might look into sparkpeople.com

I use mapmyrun.com to track all my stuff, though it's mainly geared towards running so it might not be what you want, but it has a training calendar where you can log workouts and stuff. It saves it on mapmyrun.com but there is a cool iphone app that will track your run if you run with an iPhone that has gps.

a quick visit to the Google gods yielded these possibilities:

http://www.gyminee.com/

Not sure if you are wanting something you pay for or not or to what personalization and detail but these are options that seem viable. Not sure what all will work with the iPhone.

I second Gyminee. It can track all sorts of things and recently won an award for ... something.

I don't use it, myself, but that's because I needed more features in the weight tracking arena.
