Electric Six
I'm on a photo-posting spree. I won't be satisfied until I get booted off of at least one friend's list for photo overload!
Here are the photos from the Electric Six concert in Dallas last Wednesday. While I was shooting a bouncer approached me and told me I needed a photo pass. Without hesitation and in a non-threatening but stupidly-confident tone I responded, "I'm taking photos of the band for promotion. They're aware of this. Thanks!" "Oh. Okay." He replied. Beautiful. And technically, I'm not lying- The band could see me taking photos, and I am promoting them! (I think it's ridiculous that they have no photo policies when people can take in the awesome, pocket-sized cameras and get great shots up front. Ultimately, I think they just want to prevent GWCs from being jerks to people because they're 'the photographer.' Still.)
