You've got to use the right lube!
As I've learned from renowned sexpert, crista, not all lube is created equal, and you have to use the right lube for the job. Doing so will allow you to accomplish seemingly impossible tasks, while ignoring her sage wisdom can result in irreparable damage.
This morning I received an email from my mom, thanking me for listening to the problem she and dad were having yesterday and recommending lube for the solution. She said that once applied, dad was able to get it in with no problem, and ultimately no damage. I will admit that I am upset and rather jealous that they've gotten further than I have. Hopefully, with the right help, I'll be able to catch up today. But I'll be honest, I'm not looking forward to pulling that 6-gauge cable through conduit either, with or without cable lube. At least I have the sense NOT to bury the conduit prior to running the cable. I'll be damned if they get their hot tub working before I do.
