Okay so I'm trying out the new version of Vray right now... And I have to say it has some nice improvements. For one it calculates all 4 prepasses (gi) at the same time, instead of one after the other. It takes the same time to render, but this way it gives you an accurate estimate on how long it'll take to render the whole thing. I think what it does is calculate the prepass for each bucket, rather than for the whole image. It also has a new parameter box that allows you to change the properties (gi, gi strength, bounces, caustics, shadow casting/receiving, etc.) on every single object in the scene. It's within the renderer controls, so it's handy. That's all I've discovered so far, but I really dig it.

So I officially put in 100 hours on my main character on WoW last night. That's not including the 10-20 hours I've put into my alts :/ The only other game I've put this much time into was Gran Turismo 3, which still holds the record at around 300 hours. The bad part is I still haven't completed 100% of the game... I only lack 2 more races.... But they're hard! So if anyone wants to come over and beat the complex string time trial for me, you're welcome anytime. That and tahiti maze time trial. Goodbye.
