Oh man, I went to Pier 1 Imports just a little bit ago and the store is just as amazing as I remember it being. It's like - the good twin to Pottery Barn's evil snobby twin, or something. It's so kitschy, but it delights in it's kitschyness instead of trying to pretend that this is all legitimate expensive high-class things. Now, it does have expensive shit, but it's reasonably priced expensive shit - you don't look and go "God it's HOW MUCH?" And the candles! EVERY SCENT A GEM. Well one or two aren't to my tastes, but it's not like PB's "There are four scents in this seasonal collection - find the one that's good."
Actually went online RIGHT after shopping to leave a glowing review, I was so pleased.
It's more than a quarter of the way through the weekend. Andrew Hussie still hasn't updated Homestuck. But at least there's the placeholder 413chan while we wait for MSPAchan to find a new server.
