Gee, it's been a while
I was so busy all last week, I didn't dare go online longer than it took to check my email. This week is a little better. I had a great weekend. Saturday Nettie and Co. were here, and I got to finally see the baby. Sunday my roommate did laundry for the first time in a month. He even washed his sheets. I had planned to ask him to take me to the laundromat, ostensibly so I could do more laundry at one time (there are only two usable dryers here right now), but really so that he would maybe think to do his own since he was taking me, anyway. But, to my surprise, almost as soon as he got up he asked me how much the washers cost dowstairs. I asked him to take me to the laundromat, anyway, though.
He complained to me that even after washing his socks didn't come clean. I just looked at him and said, "Well, how many times do you wear them before you wash them?" "Too many." At least he admits it.
Anyway, back to Saturday. I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooo damn happy that I got to see my friends, and my boys, and my baby. Auntie Claudia is a very happy girl. Even though the weather was crappy. We had a good day of, as Den said (paraphrased), eating and shopping and talking. I don't know why he thinks that's strange.
