So I finished American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis. It's pretty much about the corruption of the modern day American Dream (see a vein with the books/comics I'm reading? - Watchmen, Fear and Loathing, Transmetropolitan, now American Psycho.)
It's definitely not reading for the faint-hearted. Beneath the yuppie shallowness of Patrick (he names all these brands, and gets all nit-picky with his 'friends'' clothing), there's this grotesque psychopath who enjoys randomly stabbing hobos, children and torturing ex-girlfriends and prostitutes before painfully killing them.
And this book describes all that in lurid detail.
Anyway, on a completely different note, I've been going back to jazz again - and one of my favourite songs - "My Baby Just Cares For Me". The Nina Simone version.
It's fan-made with dough-mation - the sort of stuff they used to make Wallace and Gromit.
