Happy birthday to the most successful pop pimp ever. Your generosity, your laugh, your intelligence and your ability to make Chris everyone want to hug you all make popslash one of the nicest, happiest and friendliest places I've ever spent time in.
Next up. woolly_socks and I watched BSG 3.13 last night. My one het ship is now dead in the water. I still have a crush on Starbuck, but oh boy do I want to slap her round a bit. Not as much as I want to slap Lee though. Emo-boy of DOOOOOOOOOM. Gah. I have no idea how they've gone from me being all over the pilotlove to me being happy never to see them onscreen together ever again. *pouts not at all prettily*
Penultimately: we now have a bright yellow sleigh cot for Bean in what will become Bean's room as soon as I can get the room insulated, re-gibbed and painted - so it's lucky Bean will be in with us for the first little while. It's so very very cute though!
Finally... It is vereeeee hot here today. We just had an enormous powhiri at work (under a tin roof with no air con) for all the new students and I have hongi'd til I just can't hongi no more. So the rest of today I am working from home with all the doors and windows (and LJ) wide open.
