I am in mourning (so, so sad - please sniff slightly for me). My fellow sparkly music lover has moved jobs and I am anticipating that the new workmate will not be as appreciative of me playing 'Up Against The Wall' at full volume. Or indeed any of Timberlake/Chasez/*NSync oevre.

The rest of the School will probably heave giant sighs of relief. My ( Read more... )

On the Outside by Sheryl Crow is my definitive sad and bitter Timbertrick song.

Thanks - sad and bitter is always amusing.

Which album is it from?

Well, you know, I'm not that much of a Sheryl Crow fan. I only know that song because it's on an X-Files soundtrack, Songs in the Key of X.

It's actually quite dismal, but it never fails to make me think of Chris.

Thank you. It is kinda dark yeah... but very pretty. Love the 'state of grace, state of sin' line muchly.

Also, Two of Us by the Beatles and Congratulations by the Traveling Wilburys are my JuC songs.

The Bee Gees' How Can You Mend a Broken Heart was my epic!Lambs song.

I can totally see the Travelling Wilburys. And How Can You Mend a Broken Heart is perfect for your epic.

Oh I *like* this question.

As is obvious from the titles of the majority of my stories, I use songs for inspiration quite a bit. Def Leppard's Love Bites has been quite helpful when writing TrickC.

And I guess I could have done this all in one comment, instead of stringing it out like this, but they keep popping into my head.

Oh stringing me along is a really good plan.

Love Bites is hysterically fabulous - I have an insane fondness for 80s hair rock. It is not a party at my house until the gyrating to Pour Some Sugar on Me is over.
