Hold your breath and count to ten...
So after a mildly horrible and heart numbing morning, Megen called me to go hang out at Chix Beach with her. I had never been there and I really needed to get out of the house. Being at home only reminded me of Kitty and of how much I loved and missed her. So I went. Well... Megen has a way of persuading me to do crazy things that I never normally would. Such as coming out to my mother [October 2004]. And swiming in the ocean for the first time. Yeah... so I live five minutes from two beaches, and 30 minutes from 3 other beaches. And this has been my situation all of my life. I mean I was born here. In a beach town. Yet I had never swam in ocean water. Until today. She convinced me to go into the water. And can I just say that... it was amazing. I'm burnt.
