Yesterday, I officially withdrew from SCAD. I left in good standing, so I can come back any time within the grace period without having to reapply. Just sign up for class like nothing happened. I'm hoping I can come back for the Spring quarter. I'm getting treatment in Savannah, so I won't be moving back to TN.
I withdrew for medical reasons. Last year I was in a car accident that left the left side of my body numb. Most of the numbness went away on its own, but my left arm never recovered. When my arm is not numb, it's intolerably painful. I am left handed. Obviously, this makes being in art school a damn near impossible situation. (For the record, if you suggest I give my right hand a try as some have, you are a complete moron.)
