The Ball's only in a few days, and I still have to tweak a few parts of my costume - don't worry, Padma, your part isn't affected at all. (I've found the most brilliant accompanying piece to go with it, however, to give it a little... something extra.)

Well, they will certainly be pleased to know that it's almost done. With the exception of a few arithmancy problems. Ugh. I wish I could just make that disappear!

Anyway! Did you need any help with your costume? I think I have most of mine, except I think I could use a few more feathers. Oh well.

Padma would be your best bet if you can't get those solved. Or I could have a go at them, if you'd like. (In the event that neither of us can figure them out, I can probably figure out a charm to get rid of them.)

I have to take in the hem of the part that isn't Padi's robes, but other than that, I've got everything under control. (Feathers? Do tell.)

Hmmm, perhaps I could bribe the fiend with ice cream and flattery then? I think that may be easier then arithmancy, anyway...

I found this lovely gown that resembles a peacock. I can show you a picture if you like because you're not seeing the dress until it's on me!

But I want to find a few more feathers to go in my hair to complete the look, but I haven't had much luck finding anything but owl feathers!

Why don't you charm the owl feathers blue and green and all sorts of other colors? I'm sure Professor Flitwick could help you with it.

Well, you tell the vile fiend with the fabulous hair, who happens to be the house's best chaser, that if my varnish is returned to its proper place, they can expect an ice cream on me next Hogsmeade weekened and a promise from yours truly that she will seek out arithmancy help.

And as for the dress, remind me to show you the pic next time I see you, it's breathtaking really, and I like the way it looks on me too!
