Mom's finally out from surgery and home snuggled up with one of the down comforters on the couch.
One fun thing I learned today, was that the Faces pain rating scale that I saw on Scrubs, actually exists! My Mom's anesthesiologist showed us the chart today before Mom got, as he called, her "happy juice" to go under... She didn't realize that was going to be the case until last night. \o/ (And I didn't realize until signing her out this afternoon that I actually needed to spend hte night here... the night before both of my finals midterms, the first starting at 8am nearly 50 miles away, yay!)
Anyway. Apparently that chart is called the Wong-Baker Faces pain rating scale:

Needless to say, when I saw that that chart actually exists, I erupted in uncontrollable laughter. I may have gotten some odd looks. What can I say, I totally thought that that chart was a joke! Plus, it made me think of The Todd's uber wedgie thing with his banana hammock :D
