[You have found one [1] pathetic loser! [K]eep/[D]iscard?

Kageyama is certainly not doing anything noteworthy. In fact, he's just sitting on the ground in one of the many doorways, arms around his knees and his eyes on the floating yellow ball of light in front of his eyes. He's still not certain what to make of this fairy thing.]

[Normally England would just leave, or nod a hello and wander off, but Kageyama is looking like he could be upset. Which...makes England a bit curious.

So he decides on [K]! Pathetic losers must stick together, after all!]

They like it if you talk to them, you know.

I don't think anyone likes to talk to me.

[He ducks a bit deeper into his jacket, chin on his knees.]

Besides, what would we talk about.

That can't be true. Everyone's got someone who...[He trails off because oh wait he's in that boat.]...well, mostly everyone, that is.

Ah...well they don't exactly talk back, but they're excellent listeners. Good company and...and all that.

Hn. [He shrinks in a bit further at the mention of 'having someone'. He used to have someone, but then he got abandoned again. You'd think he was used to it by now.]

You sound like you know a lot about them.

Well, she's the only one I really talk to 'round here. A bit like home, now that I'm thinking on it. [His fairiieees.]

That sounds familiar. You don't have anybody either?

[England has pinged his interest. And it is not like he is desperately trying to find something or someone to interact with now that he does not have his brother. That is just a silly idea, haha.

Well that's not exactly--I mean, I've got...

...Elizabeth? [He's got a look that screams: How did you know!?!?]

[It's like long lost loser twins around here.]

It's better to be alone.

[England decides to sit across from Kageyama.]

But it's terribly lonely, being alone.

Rather that than to be abandoned time and time again, hurt each time you reach for the light.

Being lonely is the best some people can achieve.

Not everyone would abandon you, you know. I'm sure it'll...it'll all turn right in the end, somehow.

They will. That's the kinda guy I am.

You're still looking forward, huh? Envious, but you should stop. Won't get you anywhere but hurt.

It's not your fault they're all prats.

Better to be hurt than completely alone, I think.

I am the worst. Of course, it is my fault.

[He tips his head back for a moment, leaning against the wall.]

Everybody is alone in the end. Sticking together with someone is just drawing out the inevitable. So why get hurt for it?

You don't seem like 'the worst'. If anything, it's their fault for being prats. The prats.

[He pauses, turning to look out to the street, watching a few people walk by before he responds.]

Because when you're with another--even if it's for a short time--that loneliness is gone. Besides, one grows used to it after a time. And eventually, people up and dying or up and leaving on you stops hurting so much.
