Today is the fist meeting of the Sparring/Training Club! Come all you fighting people and......meet each other.

[Touka's here, with like a clipboard and stuff. And a sign-up sheet! She will answer questions and stuff. Not that she will know the answers.]

[ Hellllooo, Touka~ Shou's come along to the park with her spear which has been acting as much of a prop here as it had been back in Gensokyo. Seeing the familiar face, she smiles and approaches her. ]

Touka Kishi. I'm not too early, am I? I did not want to be untimely and only be a disturbance. [ She moves the spear slightly in her hand. ] I also was unsure if more appropriate tools would be provided or if we were to bring our own.

[girlpowertouka]

Oh, hi, Shou-san! Nope, you're right on time. Oh, do you fight with a spear? So does my friend Hime-chan. You guys should spar together. I'm sure she'd love that.

[tigerfaith]

I would be glad to. I must admit though, my skills with the spear are only limited. [ Moves it some, just to take a look at it herself. ] It's not the most popular form of skill-testing back in Gensokyo.

[girlpowertouka]

Well, I'll tell Hime-chan to take it easy on you, then.

[Does Hime-chan know how to take it easy? Hmm. Touka will talk to her.]

What do you guys usually do in Gensokyo?

For my pride, I hope she will not need to. As for your question about Gensokyo though, it is more traditional to use your skill of curtain fire initiated through selected cards. Sometimes a game, but it can be made into a more tricky challenge.

Not that fighting with a weapon or your hands is rarely done, that would be untruthful. I've simply been too busy for some years to do more than light training by myself.

Oh, good. I was just thinking that I don't know if Hime-chan knows how to take it easy.

And -- that sounds really interesting. What's curtain fire?

Hmm, how to explain it... I guess one might call it a form of magic. It's thought rather neccessary to be used by youkai, but humans are known to practice it also.

[girlpowertouka]

Oh, that is really interesting.

[She was totally being polite about it being interesting before.]

I don't really know of any youkai who use magic like that in our world. We kind of just have our powers and stuff.

[ It's okay, Shou didn't notice. ]

They could very well be similar; I cannot say otherwise.

Well -- I guess they could be. We should talk more about it some time.

Yeah, great. In the meantime, let me see if Hime-chan is here.

[She yells out.]

Hime-chaaaaaaaaaan. Scarf girl.

Hey, Hime-chan. This is Shou-san. She's a youkai and she fights with a spear. I thought you two should spar together.

...Really? A youkai? [ Relevant to her interests! ]
