Nodoka was nervous. It wasn't that having Crowley come over was something she should be embarrassed about or anything (she had tided up and cleaned up, even if a lot of her time was spent next door taking care of Carl) but it was the fact that she hadn't seen him in a while. It made her worry about all the little things that she shouldn't be worried about - like how she looked, how her home looked, if she should have made a cake, those sorts of things. Little things that she really, really shouldn't be worried about when she would be meeting Crowley again.

Hearing the knock at the door, she jumped up and rushed over. She paused a little, confused, sure she could hear the mutter of voices outside - did Crowley bring a friend? Then she should have made a cake - she knew she should have made a cake. Biting her lip a little she shook her head. There was no time to worry about something like that now, not with a guest at the door. Moving forward she unlocked the latch (safety first, right?) and pulled open the door. Her eyes widened a ( ... )

It's okay- let's stick with this order~ scaresplants September 12 2010, 03:05:52 UTC
Crowley looked down at Nodoka, slightly taken back that she seemed to have grown since the last time he saw her. Wait. Of course- Hanna's body was shorter than his old one, so it was only natural that Nodoka would appear taller than she was.

There was a bit of a pang in the depths of Crowley's being as he saw Nodoka's blushing face. How could he tell her this without making her worry? It seemed like an impossible task.

"Er, Nodoka," said a voice from Hanna's mouth that was probably very familiar to the young girl. "This is where it gets a bit complicated. Can I come in?"

When Hanna spoke, Nodoka's eyes widened. She would know that voice anywhere - it was the voice of one of her very best friends and there was no mistaking it. Taking a deep breath she tried to consider this - was it a curse? If so why hadn't she changed? After a slight paused she smiled, stepping backwards and holding the door open so that he - or they? Was it they? - could come into her house.

"I... I see, Crowley-san," The girl said softly. "It looks complicated already! But please, come in and make yourself comfortable. I-I'll make some tea!" Scuttling away after closing the door behind the man - men? - she moved to her small kitchen and turned the kettle on, taking the short minute to catch her breath and think it over. What if it was just Crowley-san and Hanna-san that were affected? There had to be a way to make it better, right? She could feel her heart rushing with worry and she took a deep breath, turning back to smile at the two.

"Oh, thank you, Nodoka." He walked inside, smiling a bit as he saw her dash off to the kettle. A cup of tea would be good, but the way he was feeling right now, a bottle of win would be even better. But he still wasn't sure what would happen to Hanna's body if he decided to drink. It's not like he could repair the damage that would eventually happen to Hanna's liver.

He sighed and tried to smile back, though with Hanna's face, it looked more like a wide grin that didn't accurately represent the awkwardness he was feeling right now.

"Okay, Nodoka, here's the deal. Not to worry you or anything but right now, my body has been discorporated. Hanna, care to explain further?"

The girl turned to face the body standing in the kitchen doorway. Pausing, her brows furrowed a little as she thought it over. Discorporated? She closed her eyes as she thought back to things she had read to better understand what the word meant -- when she worked it out her eyes gaped at Hanna - Hanna-san and Crowley-san -- as she tried to wrap her mind around it. Crowley's body was gone and he was now stuck in Hanna's body. That was the gist of it, right? She took a deep breath and stepped forward ( ... )

Inwardly, Crowley shook his head at Hanna's explanation. Well, at least he was blunt about it. He would have at least added more about the whys and hows of the situation, but at least Nodoka understood what had happened to him.

"We don't know yet, Nodoka. Currently Hanna is working on it, aren't you, Hanna? Hopefully this won't last for long," To tell the truth, Crowley was afraid. If Hanna couldn't find the solution, then he would be stuck as nothing more than a spirit possessing other people to survive.

"Hey, Nodoka, it's okay. We'll get things done, hopefully. No need to worry..." But his sorrow tone seemed to say the opposite. Crowley had no idea how he would get out of this...maybe Aziraphale had a way.

Nodding, moving and placing cups of tea and a small pot of sugar on a side table, Nodoka took a moment to pause. This was hard to handle, and she could feel the rush of fear and worry in her veins as she took a deep breath, trying to calm down. The thought that one of her best friends, one of her greatest happinesses here in the city, was stuck in a body that wasn't his own worried her and she was ever so desperate to help him. Casting a nervous glance Hanna's way, she shook her head. He could learn her secret if he needed to, but she didn't have to let on too much ( ... )

"Yes, it could have been worse..." Crowley agreed, sitting Hanna's body down on a chair near the side table. He reached for a cup of tea, then paused as he realized that maybe Hanna didn't want tea. Crowley wasn't that used to thinking about others- how did Aziraphale survive like this for so long?

"Priestesses? Yes, that could be an option. Or we could ask the great Lamufao for my body back if we're that desperate," the demon noted rather sarcastically. Though, if this "Lamufao" really did have so much power, maybe he could find a way to benefit his situation.

"Nodoka, don't worry. I appreciate your help, but...I just don't want you to get into trouble, alright?"

For a long moment, all the girl could do was stare at them. It was strange, talking to two people with one body, especially when they spoke to each other; the voice change was shocking and she had trouble dealing with it. She was firm, though, her determination more than obvious. "I won't get in trouble, Crowley-san, I promise. I've been in more danger than this before, s-so don't worry, okay?" She smiled brightly at them ( ... )

"Sure, yes, I'm going to drink that," Crowley said, finally taking the cup and sipping the hot tea carefully. This wasn't good. He didn't trust any of the people who were in charge here, especially not Alpha. The very mention of him made him feel a little angry. The psycho doctor would probably laugh at Crowley, not help him.

"Alpha? Please. The guy shoots people he doesn't like. And I know for a fact that he doesn't like me." Though...there was that point where Alpha had offered him information if he promsed to protect Lamufao. Maybe these people had designs for him that he couldn't even understand. It was scary to think about- that he was nothing more than a chess piece in their little games...

"Though, I do think that seeing these priestesses is somewhat of a good idea. The fact is, Hanna and me have to convince them to help our cause. And the fact is, they might want something in return."
