The person to whom she had spoken up to, a person who Shou wouldn't even remember if had a fairy or not, had on her face when she turned the look of one who was busy. There was no need to ask her to disrupt her time because of the questions she had when there may have been another out there to speak to, and so she allowed the woman to go without sharing her problem with the other, allowing her to excuse herself. "Oh no, pardon me, I can see you're very busy. Please, don't mind me..."
Shou didn't get to see if the woman was thankful, as it was at the end of her words that she had heard that voice say her name. The person would be gone though when she turned to see who it was-- no, she had a very clear idea of who that voice belonged to, even only by hearing it, and it was confirmed when she saw Byakuren Hijiri approach her.
"Hijiri..." She murmured, but then spoke again with a more stronger voice after nodding her head. "Yes, it is I. Hijiri, are you alright? I would have searched endlessly if I knew you had been brought here, too."
"No, only for a night." Yet Hijiri's words and Shou concerned for how long the other thought she had been in this place herself. Surely it couldn't have been any longer than herself, could it? Of course. She shook her head and waved her hand after answering Hijiri's question, continuing, "And it's fine. I would not want to leave you or the others by yourself in such a strange civilisation."
It was the truth, for Shou had been sincerely worried for Hijiri's health despite the kindness that Shou had seen herself from the people only just a while ago.
"But the others..." For certainly, she was also concerned for them, "Who of us have you already found?"
Shou was glad to hear of their safety, but also of Hijiri's theory that there was a much greater purpose to their being brought to where they were than for no reason at all. It helped to think that there would be a challenge here that would be to better herself, though it was somewhat disheartening to find herself left wet and with no answers as to what the challenge would be-- but then, did life always have a clear answer for the way to proceed?
"Well, it may have a certain charm to it, and it's pleasant to know that the people of this place will extend their hands so easily to a lost soul," Shou began, so as to not sound negative on the place when it had been somewhat... nice to her, "But I must be truthful and say that I can only think it strange when arriving here in my sleep."
A temple? Well, that said a bit, didn't it? It seemed that Shou was late to a party of arrival if Hijiri had already been busy creating a temple, unless she had received help from some divine powers. "How long has it been since your own arrival, then, Hijiri? I would never doubt you to not share faith to those who wish it, but I do doubt that you have been for as short of time as I."
A month! The surprise was obvious to read on Shou's face, though she did not for a moment think Hijiri a liar. She repeated the amount of time, almost questioningly, but it was followed by a pause in silence before she spoke again. "Then there's no saying how long we will be here longer. Hijiri..."
Shou put a hand over her heart, smiling to Hijiri. "As we're still unaware of the greater purpose this place has for us, I would like to offer my help to you with your temple, if my services can be used."
"I would have been deeply troubled to find you and the others missing." And more overjoyed to see Hijiri approach her than she had been. To lose her again so quickly would have been troubling...
But such thoughts weren't worth pondering over, and so she returned to chatting before such thoughts had time to become anything. "Yes, it would-- however, may I ask to have some time to search for Nazrin? And Nue, of course. There's a chance they are also here, so I would like to see if that might be the case."
"I would appreciate your company." To hear the thought they gave to her in the past did warm her inside, but the thought of the others searching then took her to her next question. "Do you believe we should meet with Murasa and Ichirin? Or we could perhaps see them after our search."
"As I shall be to see them." Shou took a wandering glance around the plaza from where they stood after speaking, checking to see how crowded it was or wasn't. It was fine, but she took more of a notice now when she saw a fairy or two bob above from the heads.
"Then," She began, looking back to Hijiri. "I presume you know where to find them? You spoke of the temple, but if they are not there..."
Saying that, her thoughts were more on the Captain, Murasa, more than Ichirin. Murasa was as fond of Hijiri as herself, but she didn't believe religion to be much of a concern to her as for them.
