Picnic under a tree

[The air was calm and the water on the outside of the dome has returned to its usual color. It seemed like the horrifying zombies were gone for good and now it seemed almost like a nightmare. The pain in her shoulder reminded her from time to time that it was anything but a dream.
Sitting against the tree, she shifted slightly as she continued to think. The zombies were horrible and because of them, a life was lost. Saya...she was her friend and now she was gone. Kagome sighed for a second, as her thoughts remained on her dead friend. Never one for being pessimistic, she slapped her hands together] Right!
[She stood up, stretched and looked around her.] The weather's nice and water's clean, its not so bad being in Vatheon. [Glancing down, she started going through her herbs and medical supplies. She had to go through them to make sure that she had enough in case something else happened. She had used up a good bit during the zombie attacks and Kagome was one for being well stocked. While sitting on the blanket, she started taking out food as well.
Arranging the food around the blanket, she sat back against the tree and started munching on some chips. For a few seconds, she actually felt at peace. It was quiet and all was well besides Saya's death.]
