Alice?, silent and with a stack of books on the steps beside him, sits right outside of the library.
In truth, he had felt the need to leave the tense, stifling atmosphere of the new home he now shares with Mr. H and Neku; some things have yet to be resolved, and he's not sure they ever will be. Tired of the uncomfortableness--and that's not what a home is supposed to feel like, right?--he decided to set out and actually explore the library.
A liking for books. He doesn't remember having one, but he feels that fondness for books and so here he is.
And on the other side of him, but almost protectively close, lies the battered copy of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, the copy Mr. H found for him. Every once in a while, he glances at it and frowns, but he seems divided on the thought of picking it up.
So instead, every time, he looks back at the book in his lap, clearly trying--and failing--to focus and read it.]
