[Frankly, Billy's a little surprised he hasn't snapped yet. It's bad enough he had to go through a zombie attack and nearly get killed. On top of that, he really didn't need to see someone die, especially in that kind of way, or even worry that someone else had.
Honestly, nothing back home could've prepared him for any of this, and he's left to deal with the consequences.
