[Valkenhayn has a bad habit of just... appearing next to you. Which he'll be doing now.]

This place has many fine alcohol serving establishments... although perhaps that should not be your first priority.

[oh hello when did you get here. But she just tosses you a friendly smile instead of....idk, screaming like the little girl she appears to be.]

Hey, a sailor gets thirsty when she's surrounded by water she can't even drink. Ever been out to sea?

[something subtle in her face twitches]

Unfortunately, I have not had that pleasure, though I can understand the sentiment. Perhaps I could interest you in some tea, instead?

[was that tray of tea things in his hand a second ago?]

If I wouldn't be imposing.

[she reaches for a tea thing, because no this isn't suspicious at all]

fff, missed this somehow butler_wolf August 16 2010, 06:40:22 UTC
This batch came out particularly well, I think. A fine Darjeeling blend.

[hey, he takes pride in his tea! no funny business here.]

Is it to your liking?

no problem! miserabledepths August 16 2010, 08:32:36 UTC
[siiiiiiiiiips]

Tastes great! Ah, I don't get to have nice drinks like this often, thank you.

My pleasure. There is no greater joy for me than hearing someone enjoys my tea.

You have just arrived here, I assume?

((OOC: On a random note, I just realized you were the Murasa in that cracky musebox... the slightly more sane one, anyway. XD))

[is quite obviously savoring it; almost as good as alcohol!]

Afraid so, sir. I'm Captain Murasa, and I don't suppose you've seen my crew around? They tend to stick out in a crowd, and if they're here they'd be asking for me...

[HAHAHA you were reading that? /so embarrassed]

Unfortunately, I have not seen anyone that might fit that description... I am Valkenhayn Hellsing, butler to Madam Rachel Alucard. If I encounter any of your crew, I shall direct them to you post haste.

((Worse, I was the derpy Byakuren))

V...Valk....

[she takes a minute to work out how to say his name properly]

I'd greatly appreciate that, Valkenhayn. The offer alone means much to me, even if it should come to naught.

[IF BY DERPY YOU MEAN AWESOME]

Of course, Miss Murasa. This place is a strange dimensional hub, beyond the bounds of conventional reason. The presence of comrades makes the transition easier, to say the least. Anything this old man can do to help shall be done.

((totally considering apping her here now, aha))

[she stops herself from saying "aw, I bet you're not so old" since...gosh what if that's just rude]

I'd be in your debt, sir.

[siiiiiiiiips]

....a dimensional hub, you say?

[oh man what do I have to do to help make that happen]

People of different worlds have been drawn here, although for what reason I am not entirely sure yet... But suffice to say, it is unlikely that this is the same dimension as that you hail from.

One might say you've managed to sail across the sea of worlds.

[He smiles a bit at his cleverness... or what he thinks is clever, at any rate.]

((Bribes are always welcome! But yeah, I think will \o/))

...Hmm. I'll take that as good news. I wouldn't want to associate this place with home.

[she smiles; SO CLEVER]

I can't say I've ever expected to add something like that to my resume.

[ICONS AND PAID TIME SHALL BE YOURS MY LIEGE]

In truth, this world is almost a welcome diversion from my own... although quite a few of my colleagues from back home have arrived here now.

At the very least, it is an interesting experience. A grand adventure! I hadn't expected to embark on another one at my age.

((Already reserved and working on the app... I'm so very easily enabled.))
