[ CHARACTERS ]: Anise Tatlin and vatheon [ LOCATION ]: The Plaza [ TIME ]: Anise's arrival to Vatheon. Fair warning there's a little bit of depression going on in here. XD [ STYLE ]: Both [ STATUS ]: Open~
"My lady...?" Yukimura crouched down a little ways away from her, as not to startle her, his eyes full of worry. "Are you all right? Why are you weeping?"
[ She kept her face planted in her arms, not saying anything to the man that approached her. She could tell him that she was fine and that there was nothing wrong. Give him a smile and tell him to leave. Yeah that's how it always worked with her. She was always smiling, but somehow....right now it was difficult to even pull off that expression. ]
Anise didn't want to look up but obviously the guy wasn't going to leave soon so she couldn't just brush him off. he might just stay there or something. The Fon Master Guardian looks up briefly, tear streaked face as she glanced at him..... muffling something along the lines of..
Her voice was caught in her throat. She didn't know what to say to him. She couldn't just tell him she killed someone before coming here but it would probably make it better for her. She didn't want anyone to see her like this right now, especially not her friends....
"..."
Yes she was new. There's a possible nod from her as she curls back up again in her little ball. She shouldn't take stranger's kindness. They were all short lived anyway. If they knew what she did they wouldn't be comforting her at all.
"This place can be very confusing, my lady, but I promise you are safe. You have no need to be frightened." He mistook her tears of sorrow for being upset at her surroundings.
She wasn't scared. Hell, Anise wasn't scared of anything. The only thing that terrified her was the her lack of confidence and courage to overstep Mohs. If she could have tried something...or even ask for help she would be able to get further and Ion wouldn't have ended up dead. IT was about everything but fear.... she just shook her head....
"You don't get it." she mused softly, and with choked sobs. She might sound rude right now but it wasn't her fear that made her this way...there were other reasons.
Her voice was caught in her throat again. How could she easily just say it? It was not something she would be proud of, announcing she had killed someone. How would a stranger take it anyway?
"I killed someone." she replied in a choked whisper, "You shouldn't be concerned with someone like me." she added tightening her closed eyes.
The poor girl...she sounded so sad. Yukimura was a samurai; he had killed many people in his short life. Yet even though he found thrill in battle, he too had felt guilt for what he had done.
He scooted nearer to her, then sat beside her, crossing his legs. "I, too, have shed blood, my lady. Likely much more than you. Whether you were right or wrong in doing so: I cannot make that judgement. Either way, it does not lessen my concern."
She looked a little surprised at his understanding. What surprised her even more was what he said. He had killed people too? Granted she had killed someone close to her and it was a lot more painful than just killing an Oracle Soldier that stood in her way. She didn't have a choice in the matter if it were life or death but Ion was a whole different story.
She couldn't just abandon the fact that she had killed someone close to her...
"...." she didn't know what to say to him for that comment. She might have felt a little better from hearing that but it was normal right to kill people for your own survival. Despite knowing that acting like it was fine, she wasn't really sure about it all.
"Allow me to help you get warmed up, at least, my lady? Staying wet and becoming ill will do nothing for guilt nor repentence; believe me in this." He takes off his jacket, leaning over to place it around the girl's shoulders. He takes great care not to touch her while doing so; he would not wish to make her uncomfortable!
"Okay," she mused after a couple of minutes of silence. There was no use in being like this forever. She had to pick herself up and she knows for a fact that she wasn't the only person that had killed someone, even though it was a shock to her. She'll never forgive herself for it but she'll try her best to find a way to make up for it in the least.
She looked over at him as he offered her his jacket. If it were any typical day and Ion wasn't gone, she might have just enjoyed it a little. It's not everyday that a good looking guy was helping you and stuff. If Anise wasn't the way she was right now that's what she would be thinking.
"Th-Thanks...." she softly muttered after another moment of silence.
