[He hasn't been to karaoke in awhile. But the thought of a break is not a bad one; it is for this reason that he walks in, curious and quiet.

Spying a familiar face is what keeps him there, drawing him forward.

He waits until the song is over--then he claps with a straight face.]

[ The clapping actually surprises him; Naoya turns abruptly, startled.

Then his mind whispers Fool just as his eyes register the applauder, and he relaxes. ]

Hello, Arisato.

[He stops then, nodding.]

Good afternoon, Todo-san. I didn't know you sing.

[singsforsouls]

[ The other boy shrugs. ]

It is a hobby.

[lunateclock]

...I enjoy it as a hobby too.

Do you come sing karaoke often?

[singsforsouls]

... I do.

[ There is a small smile on Naoya's face as he offers Minato a microphone. ]

Would you like to sing?

[lunateclock]

[He stands, blinking.]

Alright.

[And then he'll walk on up there and fearlessly accept the microphone. The songs and selections are cheesy and rather fishy too--

But he'll just sing, because it's fun and he's fearless.]

[ It is fun, even more so now that he has someone with him.

Naoya joins him in the duets, and in more than a few of the single songs, too, just for the sake of singing. ]

[It is fun this way. He's never had someone to go to karaoke with before.

But eventually the songs wind down to a close and--]

I'm going to get a glass of water. Do you want one?

Yes, please.

[ Naoya sets down the microphone, clearing his now tired throat. ]

[Minato returns a few moments later with two glasses of water, offering Naoya one quietly.]

[ Naoya takes it and then a deep drink. ]
