Basically, this post exists because Selphie has promised half of Vatheon that she'll show off the chocobos, and introduce people to the gorgeous birds that they may or may not know from their world.
Selphie's in the chocobo barn, and she's helping the younger birds grow their winter feathers. They've been shedding their fluffy baby feathers, and Selphie's helping with the process. Happily, she's grooming them in turn, though not without singing along to them. Yes, she's making the song up as she goes along, and her voice swoops as she makes up the tune. Selphie's actually quite a musical person, and the song itself is pretty good, but bizarre. She moves from a poppy beat to a slow, moving ballad, and her lyrics change from being about sunshine and birds and friendship, to loneliness and an island with a scary curse.
