Well, this one certainly wasn't human. Gray skin ruled that out. The horns as well. And the language was wrong for any sort of shapeshifters or demons he was familiar with. Very curious indeed...once he figured out where he was, Simon might have to find out more about this individual. Whether or not that was through conversation or observation, he'd have to figure out later...

"...no. Not quite," Simon reluctantly answered, after some moment's hesitation. He wasn't fully comfortable with admitting how he'd come to be, but he wanted to believe his...condition wouldn't be as much an issue with a non-human like this one. He hoped, that is. "How did I get here?"

Despite how others might have felt when asking that question before him, Simon didn't appear to sound panicked or afraid...but curious. Apprehensive certainly, but also genuinely interested in how he'd gotten here. He hadn't been performing a travel spell, or any spell for that matter, which meant he could rule out an accidental transportation due to a misspoken word or an improperly prepared ritual. Which made the present circumstances much more interesting, if slightly unsettling...
