[Don't mind this person in a dark coat, then, making his way around the plaza with his head held down slightly. It's been a long month, and he's just taking in the quiet...

...Someone new, and a comment about food? Eyebrow raised, girl.

[...Sure, why not. She's kind of bored. And she's interested in the outfit.

So she turns to Riku, raising an eyebrow of her own.]

Any reason for the ominous getup?

[He pauses, head tilting toward her with a look that pretty much read "What?" It's actually kind of normal for him.

So yes, definitely a new person he's dealing with.]

Maybe, maybe not. It's just what I feel like wearing.

[ooc: ...Need to ask about her Soul Gem, because he can kind of sense heart/souls. xD]

[She eyes him for just a few more moments.]

Kind of depressing, don't you think?

[ooc: what do you need to ask about? like if he would be able to sense her soul in it or...?]

[ as you start off, you may have noticed - but probably not - that someone decided to sit on the bench just as you left it. there's nothing particularly abnormal in that, since that's the sort of thing people do, they come and they go, but-

-he's soaked through and through, probably in a similar manner to how kyouko would've only just earlier. right. he doesn't seem too fazed by it though, and instead runs the hand currently not rested on his cane through his hair so that he can see more proper - he really does need every bit of vision he can get, alright - and calls out to kyouko. ]

Good evening! Say, would you mind lending me that linen if you're through with it? It seems as though I've become very wet!

[ he sounds kind of cheerful for someone drenched to the bone. ]

[...Well, that was an odd request. She stops in her tracks and turns back around, curious.]

I'm done with it, but you can just get a clean and dry towel of your own too, you know. [She shrugs, taking the towel off of her.] I don't know how much this'll help.

[Look at all that hair, Break. She tried to dry her hair on this one towel, ok.]

[ leaning forward and resting both hands - and subsequently his weight - against the top of his cane, questioning with apparent interest. ]

Over there. [She tosses the towel at him and makes a vague point in...another direction.] You can't miss 'em.

[There's a man walking by in a bright red suit and sunglasses, who stops and glances at Kyouko with a smirk as she gets off the bench.]

New, huh? Couldn't really tell, what with the nonchalant attitude. You're not too upset about waking up in a place you don't know about, unlike most people.

Still that obvious, huh.

[She tosses the apple core into the air momentarily before catching it, looking at the new person.]

Not like I have anywhere to go to, anyway. [Though she is curious.] There a name for this place, or what?

Yep.

[He shrugs as he puts his hands in his pant pockets.] The name of this place is Vatheon, and yes, it is underneath the sea. That isn't an illusion.

I didn't think it was an illusion - it all seems real enough.

[She's seen some weird things that were real, she can deal okay with being under the sea.]

So what brought us here, then?

[Geez Vatheon. You keep bringing and taking away anyone who came from Mami's world. Homura quickly left as she came a few weeks ago. Mami has made it a point to patrol city at knight, especially now after the whole ordeal with the kraken. She approaches the other girl slowly.]

Kyouko Sakura. You've returned.

[At the voice, Kyouko turns. Well, she hadn't exactly expected to run into someone else from her world -- especially one that was supposed to be dead as well.]

Mami Tomoe. [A beat.] So, is this really the afterlife or something?

[Not that she would particularly mind that...]

[This was the second time Kyouko had said something like thing. So was it true then? Were they both dead in their world?]

I am not entirely sure. Time certainly has no meaning in this world, Sakura-san.

[You better believe it, Mami. Sayaka too, but Kyouko wasn't going to get into that yet.]

Tch. [A pause. Well she had almost completely thrown out the idea, but it was possible, huh?] Never expected it looking like this.

[She regards Mami for just another minute - still surprised.]

What's this place, anyway? If it's not the afterlife, then what?
