[Hello Japan. Guess who's finally found you. And is bothering.

...well, maybe not bothering so much as lurking around in the shadows and waiting since he doesn't want to interrupt him at an inopportune time. So maybe it's more of him being an accidental stalker than anything as he's waiting until the other nation's not busy to bother him.]

Canada-san ... *He trots next to the other nation. Good, he looked like he was uninjured. talker or not*

I have been, well ... A little unprepared for this kind of attack. But Yashiro has been keeping me safe.

*The Pokemon happily sniffs Canada's legs.*

[He was rather good at dodging things, for the most part. Plus, the scratches on his hands came from when he tripped over his own two feet earlier, so if anything, he's the biggest hazzard to his health right now.

Looking down at the pokemon, he gave it a cheerful smile.]

I'm glad to hear you're safe. As well as Yashiro. I've been fine, thank you. It mostly... ignores me.

... Oh. I-I see.

*So even the monster have a hard time noticing him. Japan can't help feel a tinge of sympathy. But they shouldn't just hang around like this on the streets.*

Why not come with us? We're heading for the Cavern. I hear it's safe from the attacks.

I don't mind it, too much. [There was a smile and a wave of dismissal about it. The monster would occasionally remember he was around, but it was fine with him. It just meant he could sneak up on things better.]

We should get going there, then. [Since he's sure the tentacles might enjoy any lapse in movement for too long.]

*Japan gives Canada a small smile in return and nods.*

Let us go then. We don't want the waters too get dark. *Vatheon might not have day and night per se, but the water darkened considerably without the sun above.

Yashiro leads them as they start walking again.*

[With a quick smile, he fell into step beside him as they walked.] Hopefully this thing leaves soon enough on it's own.

[It was probably wishful thinking, however, but it was still a nice enough thought.]

*Japan looks worriedly over the bubble's barrier, where the Kraken had settled itself nicely.*

I hope so as well. Frankly, I think we did something to make it angry, but I don't understand exactly what ...

*A thoughtful pause*

Even a monster wouldn't attack without being provoked, don't you think?

I think... whatever we did was unintentional, yes, but that we did do something. Perhaps it has something to do with the recent construction? In all the stories about monster attacks I've read, a lot had to do with disturbing things and it's the only thing I can think of that is distruptive. [Since he's pretty sure nobody's been singing loudly, and badly, enough to disturb anything.]

... The elevator construction. Yes, it has been causing a lot of ruckus. *Maybe once this is all over he should go and contact the scientists who are working on it.*

If that is the case though, it's rather sad. Nature and science doesn't seem to get along very well.

One would have thought that after all this time there would have been a way to get the two to work together better. But I guess... sometimes it just doesn't work that way. Unfortunately, I don't think it's going to go away on it's own, all things considered. I hope so, but I just don't see it realistically happening that way.

[Poor kraken. He feels sorry for it.]

It is very frustrating to know that you can't really do anything for a better solution. *Japan ... well he's not sure if he feels sorry for the kraken, but he does feel tinge of sympathy. This was probably his home as well.

When they around the corner however, the street is covered in slimy limbs of the monster. Problem? The entrance is on the other side.*

[Canada tended to feel sorry for a lot of things. Even if he knew it wasn't his fault and all. He felt sorry for the kraken since they had disturbed it first and he also felt sorry things like people being stuck in Vatheon in general.] A shame it had to come to this. I guess it's sort of fitting that some frightening sea creature would lurk around somewhere down here, too.

What worries me, though, is the fact that there's one to begin with. After all... where there's one, there's possibly two. What if the first one attracts another? [Oh. He's stopping now, or else he would have kept walking right into one.]

Well. Looks like we're in for a bit of a treat here, eh? Options include running, trying to sneak by, fighting our way through, or pretending we never came this way.

I suppose that could be possible ... *Japan really, really didn't want to think about the possibility of another Kraken but it's a creature too and all creatures reproduced ...*

... We can't guarantee that the other ways aren't blocked either. I think it would be better to take our chances here. *Even if it was clearly dangerous. GULP.*

*The Shinx looks up.*

Provide us some distraction okay? Canada-san, lets run.

[There was a nod of agreement with Japan's words. he definitely agreed that their best chances stood with their current path since nothing was for certain. The danger was hopefully worth it in the end.]

I'm ready. Let's do this. [Of course, he wasn't going to just run and leave behind Japan and Yashiro, either. He'd run with him.

...sorry Japan. He doesn't mean anything, but he's pushing him out of the way of a nearby tentacle so it doesn't steal him away and do horrible things.]

Gah? *And Japan is tackled down to the ground. Very flabbergasted indeed. He watches as the tentacle retracts and stares at Canada, still a little shaken.*
