Those observant in the bubble might notice something a little stranger than normal going on today. While it's not unusual to see Equius Zahhak wandering around the Plaza escorted by robots in various stages of completion, it is out of the ordinary to see him stalking purposefully towards Larmline Apartments, a bouquet of mostly dead, bedraggled flowers in one hand and the other clenched in a fist. It's also unusual that he has his hair tied back in a loose queue on the back of his neck, although that is the only change to his appearance besides a fresh pair of uncracked black shades.
He stalks into the building and purposefully pounds up the stairs to Karkat's apartment, where he raps carefully on the door. Even Equius' careful raps, though, make the door shiver in its frame and make a sound like an echoing thunderclap.
