Kida was just starting to explore Vatheon when he saw the one and only Heiwajima Shizuo.

On the one hand, seeing someone from Ikebukuro was a huge relief.

On the other hand...Shizuo could snap him like a twig.

Kida took a deep breath, "Shizuo-san!"

The blonde heard someone call out his name, so he looked around, trying to find a familiar face, someone who could tell him where the fuck he was.

Then he noticed a boy, blonde hair, Raira uniform... yeah, he had seen the kid before, but didn't really know him. Well it was something.

"Hey... huh..." Shizuo blinked, sort of expecting the kid to introduce himself first.

"Kida Masaomi," he added quickly. This was already starting off better than he expected. Shizuo hadn't thrown anything at him or yelled at him. And if those weren't good signs, Kida didn't know what could be.

"Do you know what's going on? Or where...this is?"

"You're seriously asking me that, kid?" Shizuo pointed at his wet suit "I'm in the same shit as you are. I'm just waiting for some explanations." he tch'ed as he looked aside and put both hands on his pockets "I met with the flea earlier though. Izaya" he cleared up, in case this Kida kid didn't understand "He said some bullshit about being on another reality and that this place was called Bathtub or... Batheon... whatever. It's a weirdass name anyway."

[Shizuo examined the boy in front of him. He seemed to be a student, his uniform similar to Raira's but at eh same time, noticeably different. So he probably was a person from this world?]

[Shizuo looked down at the man's hands, utterly confused. Still shook it nonetheless.] Heiwajima Shizuo... and what the hell is Vatheon? Why am I here? this is probably Izaya's doing isn't it? [Even if the ex-bartender felt that every single misfortune in his life was Izaya's fault, he felt that somehow, this one wasn't. After all, that flea couldn't have the power to lure him to this awkward place... still, he'd blame him just in case.]

[Shizuo scratches a bit behind the dog's ear before he pulls away.] Sorta feels like if you were welcoming me, huh? Thank you I guess... [He scratched the back of his head, a bit ashamed of actually trying to talk with the dog. Pretty stupid of him.]
