[Late at night, a small kitten mewls, shaking off the water that's coating him. He looks around, and up at the coral. Recognition seems to dawn in his eyes, and he pads over to a drier spot, sitting down and smoothing his fur.]
[With that done, he jumps up onto a bench, sitting there and staring out into the darkness, tail flicking as he watches anyone who goes past.]
[After a while, he curls up, closing his eyes, but still awake, just resting.]
