[Maybe it's her blue hair that does it.

It's quite eye-catching, Yukari has to admit, though she doesn't realize that the woman is dripping wet and shivering until she moves closer--hearing her feet make squishing sounds, leaving footprints in the snow.

...suddenly she looks worried.]

H-Hey--

Um...are you okay?

[The crunching and sloshing of snow is enough to break her unfocused thoughts as she turns her head towards the young woman. She gazes for a minute or two, like she had forgotten how to speak to another being.]

... I... [She was about to say 'I'm fine' but would be lying. A long sigh left her lips before she attempted to speak again.]

I don't know where I am. Or why I'm soaking wet...

...It's normal here, if you can believe that. [...Heh. Oh, dear.] You're in a city called Vatheon now.

[Yukari will offer her a hand, trying to look as peaceful as can be.]

Come on. I know you're scared, but you don't wanna stay out here like this.

[She places a cold hand into the young woman's warm one, squeezing gently as she lifted herself off from the ground.]

Vatheon. [A name for the new world.]

There must be some sort of summoning magic at work that brought me here.

[She helps her stand, listening to her as she speaks, looking kind of uncertain about whether to agree with her.]

I guess that's possible...but unfortunately, it's a one-way trip.

There's...really no way out, for now.

[It's not the most pleasant thing to hear first, but Yukari feels it's important that they know that before anything else.]

[She hums softly under her breath. 'unfortunately, it's a one-way trip'... Magic doesn't work that way. There's always a way out.]

My name is Aqua. It's nice to meet you. [Despite being alone for so long, at least she remembers to be polite and address those who are speaking to her!]

From what you've just said, it sounds like you've been brought here as well.

I was. [She nods easily; taking comfort in reassuring Aqua that she is not alone.] A few months ago, actually.

...So I know how you must be feeling.

But right now, it's peaceful here. And I promise, you'll be all right.

[Yukari manages to smile, and is already thinking about what the next move should be. Usually she would offer to take the newcomer to get some new clothes and dry off--but it's so cold and she looks so shaken up that getting indoors, no matter where, might be a better priority.

She decides to wait a moment longer and see.]

[Peaceful... right now? That was slightly concerning but she did not question the young woman just yet.]

A few months? And you've found no way back home? [Being in a new world without a way out is a rather frightening thing to hear. But there had to be a way out...

She shakes again, the shivers more violent than the last. The soaking water was starting to freeze and cause her joints to stiffen.]

... i-is it always this cold?

[She shakes her head at the end of the first set of questions. She's always been kind of proud of herself for being able to adapt so easily, especially since she came here at such a difficult time but--

When you put it that way, it makes her feel guilty.

She shakes her head again, finally--having her answer as to just what she should do.]

No. Th-the snow's new, actually, so...

[She bites her lip. Not really knowing how to defend that or excuse it.]

Well. Let's get you indoors. I know where we can get you some dry towels, and...I can answer any more questions you have, if you want.

[Aqua took note of that pause and wondered if she had said something wrong. Perhaps she was being a little too forward but hoped this kind stranger wouldn't hold it against her...]

Don't worry about it. My name's Yukari.

[She smiles; relieved that Aqua is seemingly a little more comfortable already. She begins to lead her towards the clothing shops in the middle district, where there are towels, new clothes, not to mention warmth for them to bask in.]

...Aqua seems like a pretty fitting name for you.

[And as they walk, Yukari eyes her outfit; all blues, just like her hair~]

Annnnd I just realized that she introduced herself twice... Derp.

[That earned Yukari a tired but happy chuckle from Aqua. She supposed it was easy to figure out why her name was so befitting.]

Yukari... where exactly is Vatheon?

[She notices the paved pathway and the buildings up ahead as they walked towards the district. A city, perhaps but the sky... Her gaze scans the heavens and frowns in confusion. The sky looked rather different...]

[She answers, easily enough. If you look closely Aqua, you'll notice the 'sky' is darker--and not really a sky at all. There might even be fish swimming by on occasion...]

Though it's hard to say exactly where, for sure.

Under water...? [Upon closer examination, she can now see shape of the dome overhead and her eyes widen in surprise.]

So that's why I was soaking wet.

I guess I can understand why it would be hard to escape from here...

...Yeah. Most people have given up on trying.

[It's fairly easy to enjoy life here, after all, even when the city throws curve balls like this. Vatheon could and has done a lot worse than a little snow.]

There's an elevator being constructed now, though, that might take us up to the surface...we'll see if it works.

[Her tone sounds skeptical as they approach a shop which sells various assortment of clothes and accessories.

The clerk had even moved the stand of towels near the front of the store, for convenience--and Yukari leads the way in.]
