Kohaku didn't feel comfortable.

The worst part about this discomfort? It wasn't just an emotional, 'where am I and why am I here' discomfort. No, the fact that she, her clothes, and her hair were all soaking wet had done its' share of adding to it, so overall, she was emotionally and physically uncomfortable.

And it wasn't going to go away anytime soon, it seemed.

As there seemed to be no point in panicking (though internally, she was), and she'd never get warmed up at all if she didn't start moving (being freezing cold apparently had to accompany being soaked to the bone), she decided that it was better to just explore the place she now found herself in rather than asking questions that she knew she couldn't answer herself. Right. She had to find somebody who could.

Kohaku had noticed the ball of light (or, that's what it looked like to her) to her side earlier. At first she had jumped, stepping back away from it as much as she could before realizing that A) it wasn't going to let her get too far away without following, and B) ... it wasn't going to harm her. All it seemed to do was follow her.

Well. No harm in that, right?

... oh, right. This wasn't normal. This place wasn't the place she'd been in earlier. She hadn't even seen Shing, or Hisui, or ... anybody she knew.

Kohaku wrapped her arms around herself and kept them there. It wasn't making things any warmer, but damn it, she needed a hug.

She sighed, looking to the ball of light nearby.

"So ..."

The ball of light didn't seem to notice she was even talking. Even if it had, though, Kohaku really couldn't see its' reactions.

"... I don't suppose you'd be able to answer anything, would you?"

The ball of light just sat there. She averted her eyes ahead of her and started walking again.

"Didn't think so."
