Truth be told, he was a little surprised that she accepted his invitation - but it was a nice surprise, one he appreciated. The casual "date" would probably be good for both of them, too; if anything, it would help them get to know each other (again, he thought to himself), and if something else were to happen, well...that would definitely be a nice perk.

He took a quick look at himself in the mirror - he wasn't dressed up, but he had changed out of his usual outfit into something slightly different - then pocketed his keys and walked out of the apartment. The cigarettes were left on the kitchen counter - Ban was going to attempt to go cold turkey for the night - and he slung his hands in his slacks pockets, heading for the giant coral in the center of town.
Was he whistling under his breath? Maybe.
