You are now at the hot springs, having a nice dip in the water! Luckily for you, there's no gender separation here~]

Oh hey, showing up this didn't seem half bad. Hot springs. He stood at the entrance and admired it for all it was worth with a pleased smile.

"I could get into this... now where's that mystery person?"

To be completely honest, Liz was incredibly suspicious about the whole deal. Really, who would actually leave flowers and a note like that? Her old street senses told her that this couldn't be real. In fact, it was kind of creepy. Seriously, who invites a girl out to meet at the hot springs?

But she was curious, and if it did turn out to be some kind of prank, she could just sock 'em and enjoy the hot springs on her own. It had been a while and what the heck.

So here came Liz, walking up to the entrance with note in one hand and a bag in the other before looking around.

"...All right, this is the place."

However, the next thing she noticed was the other person.

A person with cat ears and a tail and purple hair and hey, the lighting was kind of weird so the first thing she blurted out was, "Blair!?"

Unfortunately for Natuso, Liz had mistaken him for someone else she knew.

Well, even if it wasn't the name, it was enough of a surprise to draw out the cat's attention and look over to the girl with a bag and a note. Just that twitch of the cat ears and dance of the tail.

"I'm not a Blair" that assurance from the cat. Wow, it was a woman! Fun!

Liz stared at the cat-person before her, squinting a bit. There were some similarities, but it was pretty obvious that no, that wasn't Blair. In fact, it was was some pretty boy that could easily pass off as a girl if he wanted to.

"Er, sorry. I thought you were someone I knew," Liz said as she walked over. "But those are real, right?"

The ears and the tail that is. She wasn't so much shocked as a little surprised. Not everyday that she saw other people with animal appendages.

"No problem, I think that's the first time I've gotten that" that amusement from the cat, holding his hands behind his back and rocking on his heels "Yup! They're real, you could touch them if you want~"

Just the smile up at the other.

"Na na~ are you here for a date?"

"Sorry, but I'll pass." Okay, so it was a little tempting. There was just some sort of instinct to want to reach over and pet a cat, even if this was only a cat person.

But at his question, she looked at him in surprise. "Uh, actually, yeah-sort of." Liz held up the note she had been reading before. "Some weirdo left this at my place. I figure it's some kind of prank, but it's the hot springs. Even if it is a joke, I'd still win either way."

It was pretty clear that Liz was not taking it that seriously. Though that was kind of a weird question...

"What about you?"

"Yeah, pretty much, even if it's some kind of joke or prank there's still the hot springs to fully enjoy~" just that happy wagging of the tail before holding up a letter.

"This, I got this too, asking me to come out na~"

"What? Seriously?" Liz leaned in a bit so she could read it and...sure enough, it was similar to hers.

"Well I know I didn't write it, and I don't think you wrote mine." She sighed.

"Guess someone else really did set this up."

Figures.

"No, not really. I'm not big on writing anonymous letters... but maybe I should be..." there was that thoughtful look for a moment, cat ears flattened back and the wag of the fluffy tail.

"But yeah, I guess it's someone just having fun. But I like you, nee-chan, you look fun~"

At that Liz blushed a bit. But she also kind of jerked back on instinct.

"Say what?"

Just as she jerked back, the cat pulled in, the happy wag of the tail.

"Just what I said, nee-chan looks fun~ like lots of fun~~"

"Er...okay?"

She straightened a bit. "Look, if you're trying to do something funny, I know how to fight. So don't try anything!"

She didn't grow up on the streets and she and her sister weren't known as the Brooklyn Devils for nothing.

"Something funny? Like what, like what~? I just want to play with nee-chan~" that bit of a coo from the cat, the happy wag of his tail.

"You got so serious all of a sudden, you couldn't think that I'm much of a threat, could you~?"

"Well what do you expect?" Though Liz did relax a bit. She was being kind of serious, wasn't she? "I get this weird note and find a cat person who got a similar one. A girl's gotta look out for herself, you know?"
