Bones, organs and a desire to rend anything in its path to shreds...why does this feel familiar already?

[The words came shortly after Locke's own and one of the creatures staggered suddenly, reeling briefly before continuing onward toward them, something small and thin apparently still lodged into its skull.]

You didn't really think I would let you have all the fun out here alone did you?

[Tasuki wasn't quite expecting this on his way home, but hell, this place tends to surprise you every now and then.

There was a pause before spirals of fire incinerated, or boiled the disturbing looking fish to death.]

-was never good at cookin' fish. Heh. They might give ya food poisonin' anyway.

[He's surprised, but he smiles at them before returning his attention to the remaining fish-things.]

Nice of you two to join me, might've gotten boring all on my lonesome.

[He smirks, but, is already preparing a spell instead of waiting for an answer.]

[That said, several of the fish monsters suddenly fall as they hit by the non-elemental magic of Prismatic Flash.]

Does there hafta be so many? [Sure he could deal with fighting, but they were so weak!!

To him anyway. Tasuki merely lashed out his crystal tessen and it made a clean cut right through them. His fire wasn't even necessary.]

Think anyone else is in danger?

[Locke slices through a few others, his blade enhanced ever so slightly by his magic.]

It's possible. Can't just be us, right? These things're probly all over the place.

Once we're done here, maybe we should head out and check on the rest of the people here.

Sounds like a plan to me..

[One of the fish monsters gains a card sticking out of it's skull like some perverse piercing, but unfortunately beyond making it stagger for a moment, it doesn't appear to have done much else to the beast. The observation isn't that pleasant and Setzer decides to hold back on his remaining ammunition and falls back some, allowing the redhead and Locke to take the foreground as he resorts to what he's seen to actually work against the fish creatures. Or healing one of the two of any small injuries it would seem...damn rabbit.]

[Well fuck this shit. Tasuki didn't feel like wasting half a day on these bastards.]

Rekkaaaa Shin'en

[Ropes of fire exploded from the crystal tessen in vibrant gushes. They encircled the area in a elegant pattern as it spiraled around various enemies before consuming them in a fiery wall that was sure to kill him. He improved his techniques over the last two years.]

[Locke casts a spell that causes dark clouds to appear overhead and lightening bolts to fall on the fish heads, electrocuting them instantly. However, his back is turned away from his friends and the arrival of a small, but, fresh batch of zombie fish goes unnoticed.]

[Setzer on the other hand spots their approach once he's done shielding his eyes from the light show that the sudden blaze of fire created. Unfortunately despite the fact he's more than certain he'd hit up a successful combination, one which was usually powerful enough to take down the entire new group....nothing happened. The lack of anything happening, stymied him for a moment before he decided to just call out warning instead of trying to take out the mob again and risk that also coming up short.]

Locke! Watch your back!

[Well that took care of that. His own abilities may have been taxed, but his weapon seemed fairly normal.

Tasuki glanced over when he heard Setzer give a warning.]

OY! MOVE IT!

[Seriously? Seriously?]

[Locke's fast, but, not fast enough as he turns towards the creatures, spell on his lips, the one in front lunges forward, it's claws piercing Locke's stomach and biting down on the thief's shoulder.]

D-Damn...

[The other creatures surrounding him, Locke glances back at Tasuki with an apologetic smile before engulfing the creatures in his own fire spell, obliterating them and sapping the last of his magic.

When the spell passes, Locke collapses, no longer supported by the fish monster.]

Locke!

[The older man rushes to the fallen boy's side, actually thankful this time for the heal he's able to pull off but he has the sinking feeling its too little to do any good..the shoulder looks a little better for it, but it might as well done nothing for the stomach wound. What was worse was there were more still coming...forcing him to split his attention and hoping despite the fact he needed to take them out that he would end up with another heal instead of an attack.

A hope which proved fruitless as several of the fish creatures collapsed dead on their way toward them both. Still though, he tried again..ending with another Prismatic Flash, taking out another small group. Damn it, why couldn't he actually lose once when he actually desired to.. ]

Hang in there, boy... don't you dare die on me you hear?!

[How dare they?!

How dare they do that? Tasuki didn't get stuck here just so he could experience more death. The bandit growled in anger as his grip on his tessen tightened significantly. He didn't even need to utter his incantation to spark wild flames.]

Get away!

[Being his words before every fish in the immediate burst into flames. This should buy Setzer more time since Tasuki is going to become distracted.]
