[It was about this time of the month that he always wandered the plaza, hoping in vain to see a familiar face that was, well, friendly. And by 'see' he means 'sense.' Quietly, he's just walking by on the other side of the plaza to his usual hang out spot when he hears something. Obviously a newcomer, judging by the wet scent.
He takes a moment to pinpoint it before grabbing a towel from inside, walking over and making sure he didn't run into anyone else.]
[It takes him a moment to achieve this. Sorry if your towel gets blood on it, bro.]
...I...can't. It's pitch dark.
[He does appreciate the towel though. Being wet severely puts a damper on his abilities and he doesn't feel entirely safe at the moment. He's not even sure he trusts you right now.]
[It's fine, kind of a sad normalcy in this place-people arriving injured. When he notices the scent of blood, he holds up a hand and mutters a single word in a quiet sadness:] Heal.
[He isn't the best at healing, and Cure Potion is the only way he's ever been able to treat his wounds, but he figures that something is better than nothing.]
I hadn't either until I arrived a few months back. [He sighs, waiting for his magic to return to him. Curative magic always drained his personal store...] It's supposedly an underwater city, protected from the ocean water above by a barrier of sorts.
[He seemed confused for a moment, flexing his hands a moment. The wounds from Bradley's swords... were gone. He had questions about what you just did but those would wait. There were more pressing matters at the moment.]
[He has ninja healing skills, though they aren't nearly as good as others here.]
There's a doctor in this place. He rather enjoys pulling outsiders like us to this place from different sources. How he manages this, I have no idea. [Time, location, who they're with at the time... It doesn't really seem to matter.]
[He frowns a little at that. People likely wouldn't be here if it was as simple as asking.]
...I doubt it'd be just a request if it got down to it.
[...Assuming he could dry off enough to use his alchemy. And assuming this place even let him and depending on that doctor's abilities. Which were likely quite considerable considering he'd managed to pull people from other worlds here.]

...Are you alright?

[He blinks behind the blindfold, but shakes his head. It just... figures, doesn't it.]
...You can't see? [A beat, and he's holding a towel in front of where the scent and voice is coming from.] Reach out in front of you. It's a towel.

...Vatheon. I've never heard of it.

There's something I have to do back home, too.

Well if you manage to succeed in that, let the others know. A little warning, though: they seem to know more about us then they let on.
