Raikou First Kata

[Opening his eyes to the sound of gently falling water was disconcerting to say the least, but opening his eyes to see not Hattori's compound, or the open woods surrounding it, but what appeared to be a dome of water above him was not something the samurai would have expected.
At All.
He glanced around, didn't see another soul in sight or recognize any buildings that could be found anywhere in Tokyo or even Banten and gave a quiet sigh before he closed his eyes. He spared a moment to move his body, little by little, testing carefully, systematically, for injury or damage, relieved to not finding any.
Still.
The last thing he remembered was standing back to back with his partner, former allies now faced against them, surrounding them, for turning traitor and helping Miharu escape Hattori's confinement. And his mind could not readily supply how he’d gone from the adrenaline-spiking battle to sleeping in front of a rather lovely fountain. Though the dull throbbing at the back of his head indicated a sharp blow there…
But who…and how did they get close enough to knock me out…? And if so, where’s Gau?
Russet eyes blinked open slowly to take in the unusual sky above him once more with a faint frown gracing his lips and then he was sitting up and pushing to his feet, lifting Shirogamon from its place beside him to slide it into place at his hip once more, the familiar weight a comfort. He didn't have time to waste questioning how he'd gotten so far from the battle - only knew he had to find Gau, and fast. ]
