[Whoa! That--

actually doesn't really bother her so much. Believe it or not, she's used to being run into and is only able to avoid it herself because of her freaky ability to see souls.

But anyway, hello stranger! This is Maka smiling and shaking her head.]

Don't worry about it! There's nothing wrong with getting lost in a good book!

Of course, I'm fine! [She sort of thumps her chest for emphasis.] I've had worse, believe me.

Hmm...none in this store, but you can find books from your world in the Nostalgia Nook! It just costs Tokens.

Oh!

[Duh, Maka, not everyone has been here for months on end.]

Sorry, I meant--well--it's kind of weird, but there's a place called the Nostalgia Nook in the Lower District. There are shops that have things from the world you came from for sale, they just cost Starfish Tokens.

Yeah, I think it's the same thing that brings people here, but in a limited sort of way. Like in the store for my world there's only books, school supplies and some old uniforms.

[Shrug!] That's just how it is. Other stuff from our world is probably too dangerous or easily replaceable here, so it's not worth bringing.
