[Red happened to be by the plaza as usual. He smiles out calmly to the newcomer, witnessing his current drenched state. But it's good that he has a towel already, at least.]

[Yoshimune blinks and turns around, still holding that towel in one hand and his PDA in the other. Then he smiles.]

Hi.

Did you happen to just arrive?

[Nod.]

Yeah. [...well, he just now woke up, at least.]

It's nice to meet you, then. I'm Red.

Has anyone informed you about this place yet?

I'm Yoshimune Miyoshi, it's nice to meet you too.

[...hm. Well, so far, he's only gotten a very brief greeting from one of the locals, so his knowledge is limited.]

I know this place is called Vatheon and it's not strange that I woke up here. That's about it, though.

Miyoshi, then? [He wonders if it's okay to call him that!]

I see. Well, this is actually the Welcoming Committee. [points at the building behind him-] If you'd like to enter, I'll be glad to tell you more about this place.

Sure. [He just thinks Red is being polite, so he doesn't mind at all!

"Miyoshi" leans over to peer past the other boy and up at the building. Welp, it looks like a decent establishment. And it's not like he has any other leads on where to go, so he nods again.]

I'd appreciate that, thank you. [He'll follow Red on in, then?]

[Yes! And once in, Red gestures towards the seating area. There's couches, beanbags, throw pillows, and Pokemon plushies lying around.]

Go ahead and take a seat while waiting. I'll just get something from the back.

[Nod, nod. Miyoshi sits himself down on one of the beanbags to wait patiently for Red.

...He'll have picked one of those plushies up to look at by the time Red is back, though. This place can't be too different from home if it has Pokemon, seriously.]

Sorry for the wait... We should probably hurry to find you dry clothes, too. Actually, maybe we can do that now?

[Wouldn't want Miyoshi to catch a cold and all! Red comes back holding a basket, but he sets that on the tea table in front of Miyoshi for now.]

This is for you. It's something that we hand out to newcomers.

[His clothes are already well into the process of becoming damp rather than wet, and he's more interested in hearing what's going on anyway. Miyoshi sets that plushie aside and takes the basket to look at it.]

Thank you. I guess "newcomers" are pretty common?

[That's worrying... But if Miyoshi says so. He'll just have to make this quick and brief, then.]

... All right. And, yes, I used to be one as well.

[Once the other boy looks, he will see that inside would contain a clean towel, one small packet of tissues, a hand sanitizer, a packed lunchbox containing sandwiches, this brochure, and a map of Vatheon.]

[Miyoshi nods in reply, taking the brochure out of the basket. He sets that down again and starts skimming through the pages.]

I see. Have you been here a long time? [Year one, February of year two... what's the date here? Same as back home? Hm.]

Yeah... [A short laugh, but really. It was out of how ridiculous his situation is. It wasn't really an amused one.]
