There was something about the Vatheon locals that kept the city cheery. Despite their vague answers and the general quiet presence they give, they still always have a smile on their face and always always throw the best parties. Today was no exception ( Read more... )

[And outside the park today, the city is still decorated quite nicely. Cleaned up a bit with lights and streamers around, you'll find locals drunk on happiness or musicians playing on the street corner. Vatheon seems quite lively today!]

[Have one (x1) clone being pressured by a cougar older woman local. She is obviously... drunk, yes, and Hiro is obviously cornered.]

I have to go.

["Back to my place? Oh yes, I haven't ever had a piece of you little diddies before."]

No, I mean, get away from you.

["Now why would you want to do that?"

And then she touches his face and he makes weird confused noises which she mistakes for moaning.

[Wataru hovered for long moments, watching Hiro get more and more panicked before his brain finally kicked into gear and he took a long, bracing breath and walked over, smiling brightly.]

Kikuchi-san! There you are! Ah, excuse me--

[He wrested Hiro's arm from the woman's grip--he was a lot stronger than he looked--and replaced it with his own, bowing to the woman quickly.]

Thank you for keeping him company while he waited! Kikuchi-san, I'm sorry I was so late! [He tugged firmly on Hiro's arm, attempting to haul him away gently.] Let's go!

[Wataru swallows a slightly alarmed laugh as Hiro drags him off bodily, clutching at his arm. His cheeks are flushed, but his eyes are bright and amused as he lets Hiro haul him away, struggling to keep up.]

[Oh don't worry, Hiro hasn't let go of his grip on Wataru either. In fact, he has let his hand relax enough to just hold Wataru's hand now.]

I mean--I was going to come with Gamzee, b-but he had a date, so. [God, now he's babbling. Why does Hiro always knock him off-kilter like this? He bites his lower lip and takes a deep breath, struggling for calm.] Y-you don't have to if you don't want! But I figured I'd offer...? [He manages a smile, small and warm.] I thought it might be more fun than walking around alone.
