Rapunzel is well aware that he'd hate it if she responded like this, but she literally cannot stop crying as she sits outside their store, her head in her hands. He'd scold her--he'd say

[Agito had trekked to the middle district to run an errand for Akito - he needed more red paint, and that was something he could to for him while his better half slept. Their Eevee is curled up in his hood, asleep and doing a fair job of half-strangling him as he walks, but its potential is something so great that Agito can overlook the minor annoyance.

When he arrives at the paint shop he's unpleasantly surprised to find the Super Long Hair Chick crying. In a way, it reminds Agito of how Akito was when they first met, except that he feels no desire or inclination to protect this girl and make her happy. His world won't shatter because she's sad.

But Akito would be Disappointed in him for not doing something, and so he shifts his weight from foot to foot awkwardly for a few moments, then sits down a few paces away from the blonde. Far enough away that he doesn't feel uncomfortable - close proximity outside of fighting is something he'll never grow used to - but close enough that she knows it isn't some random fluke.

And he'll just.

sit there.

and wait until she opens the store again.

because Akito needs more red paint and Agito is going to get it for him.]

[ To be honest, she doesn't really notice him at first. Rapunzel's a bit too invested in her thoughts to realize that there's someone sitting near her, without them talking. Eventually, Pascal tugs on her dress a bit, and she looks over to him, who directs her over to Agito. ]

Ah... sorry Akito. D-do you need something..?

[skyglide]

I'm not Akito. [A beat.] And if you're going to be so distracted you should go inside to do that.

[And by 'that' Agito makes it clear that he means 'cry'. He's glad Akito grew out of crying fits he'd have when they were younger. He chuffs, both tired and annoyed, the movement rousing his Eevee for a moment before it settles again.]

Akito needs red paint.

[lovingdream]

[ She just looks over at him, not willing to make sense of that right now. Right now, it didn't matter. All that mattered was Flynn and that he was gone--

She felt pretty pathetic. ]

S-sure.

[ Rapunzel stands up, picking up Pascal and placing him on her shoulder, before pulling a key out of her pocket, and using it to unlock the door. She holds it open for Agito. ]

Akito can have whatever he wants.

[skyglide]

[Agito just waits for her to go in first instead. Not because it's a polite thing to do (he doesn't care about that shit), but because he has no idea what the fuck he's looking for aside from 'red paint'.

He can't hold back a slightly bitter snort at what she says though.]

Tch, if only.

[ Then, she takes a step in the door, plopping down at one of the tables she usually painted at. She didn't want to be here--there were so many memories here. It hurt to even sit here.

Rapunzel makes a gesture to one side of the room, where paints of all shades lined the wall in rainbow order. ]

Red is at the end.

[He can guess as to what she's feeling like right now, since it isn't hard to guess what happened to her, but can't be bothered to say anything. He wouldn't know what to say anyway.

So he just heads over to where the paint is, and just kind of ... stares...]

Fuck! How many reds are there?!

[lovingdream]

[ ... She. Actually lets out a bit of a smile at that, before standing up and walking to go help him. ]

Do you know what he's working on?

[Of course he knows what Akito's working on--]
