Perhaps N should have not been, but he was surprised to see his friend here. Though one would not expect it, N too was grocery shopping: in fact, he was the one in charge of making sure the Pokehouse was fed.

The Pokehouse, which was, at the moment, short one more member, which might have accounted for the fact that N looked rather rough.

Then again, most of N's last few weeks could account for N looking rough. ]

[Ah...? He turns to see, dropping the lettuce he'd picked up into one of the baskets at the same time. Lettuce for sandwiches for the welcoming committee...he'd have to remember to cross it off that list.]

I've started to notice. People here will say they're fine even when they're not. I didn't realize it before. I guess it's just not to worry people, isn't it?

And it's true--people will usually say they're fine to make sure others don't worry. But I really am just fine.
