[ Yukari's always happy for an event like this to attend. She misses it, actually, getting to wear a yukata and celebrate. The last time she dressed up like this was New Years', and well...while she did enjoy herself, and in the end, everyone was hopeful for the future--
She vows to make this a happier occasion. So she smiles, looking up at the stars reminiscently. ]
*Relaxes instantly when she realize that it is really Yukari*
... Yeah. It's hard to see this kind of sight even in Iwatodai. *She too thinks about what happens lately, but mostly about Ryoji and how sad he looked.*
We should enjoy it, I guess.
*It nagged her that he was nowhere to be seen but still ... she didn't want Yukari to be upset either.*
[ Yukari nods in agreement, and she can sense that the situation is bothering her, too in her tone of voice. But...well, with neither of them wanting the other to be upset, the conversation likely wouldn't steer in that direction for a bit. :|a
She looks back up at the stars for a distraction. ]
Oh--come to think of it, I think that's who I got the invitation from.
[ ...well, she supposes that makes sense, then, even if the name doesn't. It's strange, indeed. The Japanese are quite proud of her country, of course, but-- ]
Pretty weird, to name your kid something like that. He did a pretty good job, though. Have you met him?
I'm afraid not. I heard weird rumors though, like there are people who claim to be nations here. *Fuuka does a lot of network hacking and came it across it one day ... The things you find on the network \o\*
[ .....skeptical at first. She knows the nations' leaders are supposed to 'represent the country,' so to speak, but that's just a bit ridiculous. Theeeen again, so are a lot of things SEES has been through together--
... Flying ponies. *Wellp, that explained everything.*
I guess curses aren't the only strange thing about Vatheon. *Fuuka looks up the stars too and at the question is reminded of full moon operations herself.*
Oh, you're right. We never did. Instead, we ended up having a crazy night. *Fuuka giggles and flushes slightly at the memory. O-oh dear.*
[ It's never occured to Yukari that Fuuka might not have met any of the ponies yet, so...perhaps maybe she should clarify? ]
I swear, it's like something right out of a cartoon. I haven't met a real one, actually, but...someone I know got turned into one during that last Curse.
[ Using the word real in relation to anything like that felt weird, to say the least, but ah well. She's at least smiling again, though it disappears briefly when she mentions the full moon operation directly. ]
U-ugh. I was hoping we could forget all about that mess. [ mumble ] 's-specially Minato-kun.
[ ...heh. She forces out a slight chuckle though, trying to keep the mood light. After all, she was the one who technically brought it up. Good job, Yukari. ]
It's okay Yukari-chan. He's not the type to let things bother him.
*And here is Fuuka's attempt to cheer her friend up. She still didn't know what exactly happened. But she could connect the dots. Poor Yukari. :(*
Speaking of which. I had a lot of trouble last week. Everything I touched turned into ice unless I focused. So I couldn't go outside of my room very much ...
With cool air and bamboo trees not far away, it feels like you're indeed staring up at the summer night sky.*

Just like the ones back home...

*Fuuka comes over when she hears her friend's voice, wearing a yukata herself. But it's rather dark and she squints her eyes.*
Reply
[ It is dark, but she can recognize her friend's voice easily enough. ]
Sorry, it's a little hard to see. [ A smile. ] ...it's beautiful, though, isn't it?
[ ...it's also helping to get her mind off some things. ]

It all looks so real. I wonder who set it all up?

*Fuuka's attempt to lighten up the mood is evident, but can you blame the girl? In a festival no less. D:*
Isn't that really strange?

Vatheon included... ]
Heh. Y'know, somehow, I believe it.

R-really Yukari-chan? *Fuuka would have thought that Yukari wouldn't really buy into nonesense like that. But then again ...*
...Well, Vatheon does have weirder things I guess.
Reply
W-well, who knows, really. I don't think I would've believed in trolls or flying ponies either, before I came here.
[ Yep, exactly. It's all Vatheon's fault. ]
Guess I'll have to meet them for myself someday.
In the meantime, though...
[ She's just gonna enjoy the festival, yup~ Her gaze rises back up to the stars. ]
We never did get to celebrate this back home, huh?
[ Stupid full moon operations. ]

H-heh. Yukari smiles back, and she looks a bit surprised at the mention of the curse week. ]
Oh, jeez; it got you too, huh?
I had this power called 'airbending' apparently. You'd think I'd be used to controlling the wind, but...
[ And she sighs, scratching her head. Not exactly the kind of wind control she's used to. ]
