Of course, the leaning reminds him of the pain in his chest and his shoulders seize for a moment before he rolls his shoulders to shake the tense out. Can't have himself falling on his ass in front of Suzaku, after all. He did that in front of Liechtenstein (and she joined him on the ground). That's more than enough half-humbleness for his not-lifetime.
He wishes he brought those pain pills with him. The one he took before this had yet to kick in- and Lelouch never liked waiting. When he wanted results, he wanted them then and there. Like when he wanted the Knight of Rounds members crushed for their rebellion (and didn't have the FLEIJA yet to make it happen); there Suzaku was, ready to carry out the Emperor's will. A sharp knife to carry out the task of cutting down his foes.
Thinking of that only leads to thoughts of that (more pain than he's ever felt before, barely being able to lean on a strong shoulder of an even stronger frame, listening to the tremble of someone he thought had grown too strong for tears), and he has to look at Suzaku. Perhaps because he is afraid Suzaku will just disappear, and leave him alone, even if he knows that Suzaku has never been able to abandon him.
That, a scary thought in itself, sends him in a downward spiral of 'what ifs' and 'mine' -- something that trying for a smile brings him out of, and this is when Lelouch knows he can still count on Suzaku to do that at least -- and he nods once.
"Yes, I wanted to talk- about what you last remember, first and a few other things. If you have the time to sit or walk with me, naturally," he starts, looking perfectly at ease where he is right now, standing closely in front of Suzaku, hands around his cup. And then about Nunnally is left unsaid after, because he's waiting.
For what, is a mystery in itself for now. But, he's smiling, so it can't be all that bad. It's a wonder why he's smiling at Suzaku in the first place, as pleased as a dozen kittens on a windsill on a warm, sunny day (just as lazy, too). It may be blistering hot, but he seems perfectly okay with this. At least the sun isn't grinning at him or something; that might make him worry and panic. Or, worse, have a heart attack.
As is, Lelouch is just fine. In pain, stuck in a bubble, and sure this day will get worse, but fine. If his bar for a 'good day' weren't so high (or low) in the first place, he would probably have more days like this. If he were alive, those days could have continued in Britannia. But, ah, you can't have everything, and 'everything' would be nothing in a world like this.
