[Eureka had been unusually quiet this week, even while caring for Renton. There had been no sign of the Nirvash, either. She's missing. What's not known is that she's been transformed into a Witch for the week, and had secluded

[A blue butterfly is flying near the pond in the forest. Crowley, who'se been sitting nearby, lost in his own thoughts, looks up, interested.]

[He's definitely miserable- his friend Aziraphale just went home, and he's lost most of his powers when he turned into a Reaper for the week, so he's not feeling so happy-go-lucky as usual.]

...A butterfly, huh?

[Well, Crowley, isn't this just your lucky day? One butterfly seems to circle lazily, fluttering down to land right on his nose. Mm, misery. Omnomnom~]

[Crowley blinks, feeling that something isn't quite right...but since he lost his supernatural-telling ability, he just thinks it's something up with him.]

[He swats at it.] Get off.

[benignbutterfly]

[How rude. IT's going to flutter around a bit, seeming rather annoyed. Yes, Crowley, annoyed.]

Don't give me that.

[He can read animal body language, you know. EVEN BUTTERFLIES.]

Do you want my snakes to eat you? Cause I will make them do that.

[Oh, it's still annoyed. And it's... Speaking?]

[Well, that's new. Crowley blinks, caught off-guard.]

[Talking butterflies what the heck.]

I'm not a normal butterfly, as you might have guessed.

[And now it's giggling, fluttering about. Yummy, yummy misery.]

No, duh. So, what are you? Someone in disguise? Or did you have the misfortune to get turned into a butterfly for the week?

Neither. I am the Queen's familiar.

[Flutter, flutter. Flutter, flutter.]

[Crowley cocks his head, looking confused.]

Confused?

[There's only a giggle as the butterfly lands on the ground. And then, sprouting up from it suddenly, is a girl. Entirely green with pink lines through her, wings stretching out behind her.]

DID I REALLY MAKE CROWLEY SAY CONFUSED WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME

[THAT WAS CLEARLY THE RESULT OF A LOW AMOUNT OF SLEEP]

[Anyways, Crowley scrambles up on his feet, trying to assess whether this creature means any harm to him or not.]

I'm not a queen. That's just what the familiars call me.

[And then she'll hold up a hand, and a butterfly lands in it.]
