[How had he gotten like this? Yosuke was dripping wet, laying on his back, and hurting in several places already.
It hadn't been his fault, at least not really. He had been so surprised at his sudden appearance in a different place entirely that he had tripped and fallen into the coral. Some may have seen his desperate attempts at getting out, and it had taken him a few minutes to regain his footing. But he had gotten out, and that's what mattered.
Even though in that stumbling in trying to get back out he had fallen flat on his back.
So this brings it all full circle as to why Yosuke's laying in front of the coral, and not making any effort in moving.]
