It's that time already? [More newcomers coming left and right. Morty anticipated there might be a few more individuals from the world where pokemon strive. There were already so many now.

Today Drifblim was floating around lazily. It wasn't much of a day pokemon even though there wasn't much light to go around, but he figured Drifblim could use some air. Nothing like floating around in the middle of day. A time where you meant to be lazy.

Surely enough it was another new face with another pokemon. Drifblim approached first.]

[Green wasn't around to hear that comment, but he does blink when faced with the Drifblim. He recognised that it was a Pokémon out of region so he was quick to pull out his PokéDex to scan it.]

Drifblim, huh? [Green scoffs when he realises that it was marked with a PokéBall.] Looks like you already have a trainer. [He doesn't quite notice Morty yet, but Eevee will go right ahead and try to befriend the Drifblim -- greeting it with a chirpy vee!]

[Oh was that an Eevee? That was an Eevee, what was it doing around here- ooooh that's why. A trainer- no, a gym leader. Well, this didn't happen everyday.

Drifblim levitated around Eevee, not minding the new company and possible friend. Morty eventually caught up with his Drifblim.] You're suppose to be lazy in the day. [Came his comment.]

Hello, I don't believe we formally met. [They can change that now.]

[When he heard steps coming towards his way, he'll glance up from his PokéDex and shoves it back into his pocket.] Oh? [He doesn't quite recognize the person, but it's someone who knows him nevertheless.]

I'm Green of the Viridian Gym, and you are? [Judging by how he worded his sentence, it seemed that he already knew who he was; but as a formality, he'll introduce himself.]

Morty of Ecruteak City. You would be the second gym leader here among these trainers. Don't be too surprised if you're challenged. I've gotten two myself.

[He was a Kanto region gym leader, was he? One of the stronger ones? Thrilling!]

Heh! That's in Johto, isn't it? [...] Yeah? But unless they can prove their worth, I won't be battling them any time soon.

[The one and only! The one gym leader who doesn't have a specific utilized type as well -- he's quite proud of that fact.]

Yes it is. [A chuckle.] It seems as though there's another region, Unova. You'll learn of this as there are some trainers from there. A few have potential. [Green may just have a battle.]

Has anyone told you your situation?

Unova? Hah... I wonder what their standard over there is, then? It sounds intriguing. [There's a pause.] Hopefully, they'll put up a good fight for once.

Other than we're in a world called Vatheon? Nothing remotely useful. [He won't mention the coral though, because he didn't think it held much truth to it; rather, it was a little too hard to believe.]

There's only one way to find out, and that's by doing. [My, didn't he have a lot of ambition? One of Morty's favorite traits.]

I don't suppose you know there's no currency here then? Living is as free as it gets.

Probably. There aren't any wild Pokémon here to train against, anyway. [That left the trainers, but that would probably get dull fast.] [...]

There's a catch. [The way he says it, it's as if that definitely has to be the case.]

No, but there are curses that might provide battles. It's not always absolute, but they are interesting from what I can tell.

[Hmm yes.]

There's no actual catch per se, save for your lack of freedom. We're stuck within the vicinity of the barrier and how far it allows us. Also our pokemon's powers have been taxed significantly. You'll notice they're weaker than what they once were.

Curses? [a laugh.] What did we end up in, a fantasy novel? [Not like their home world wasn't one already.]

[Listening in and nodding every so often at Morty's words, he will pause when he hears the later part of what he has to say. That irritation from when he just arrived? Yeah, it was coming back. Fast.] Aah? To what extent?

It's really not so hard to believe is it?

If I had to guess, I'd say about half.

[...] It's not, considering what's happened so far; but it's ridiculous.

It's inconvenient, but at least we're still all on an even plane. [He'll grunt.] Have you been in Vatheon long?

I don't suppose you've been told that the coral can recover you?

Oh, I've been here for almost a month.

Someone mentioned coral, but I didn't take much note of it. I'm taking it's true, then? That if I don't touch it, I'll die? [...this was insane]

I've heard there have been people who've been here for much longer. [a pause] Heh... I wonder what's going on back at home then, with both of us vanishing.
