[ The good news is that once the curse faded, Zelda reappeared from her week-long absence. The bad news is that she did so in her bed, fast asleep with her arms wrapped around a ninja plushie (had someone tucked it there? It was hard to tell.), and nothing seemed able to wake her. She slept through the night, the day after -- and the entire week.
It was not until Saturday morning that she began to stir, right on time with the sun. ]
