I suppose I'll start with the basics. You're in an underwater city known as Vatheon. The coral deity, Lamufao brought you here. Whatever obligations you had prior to your arrival have been put on hold.
[A plethora of questions and concerns rush through his mind and he feels momentarily dizzy once more]
...E-excuse me for one sec - [He can't help it. Grabbing the nearest empty bucket behind the stand - thank goodness there was one - he retches rather pitifully for a few seconds. The last thing he remembers was sitting in the Lancelot and charging into the United Federations meeting and then. This. Between his gasps and short heaves there are the words:]
You needn't worry about something like that. While it does seem like you're abandoning what responsibilities you had - that's not quite the case. You see, I come from a time before my enemy was defeated, but friend who has been here for about a year claims that we have already defeated him.
The deity can supposedly pull you from any point in time, and the rest doesn't hinder your attempts or disrupt the flow of time in your world.
Several theories have spread around, but the most common one is that your energy is being borrowed to sustain the barrier you see around the village. Without it, the locals and us would drown.
[He should have known better. He recognized this style of dress.]
Miroku [He bows as well, a perfect 90 degree angle. He can't help but feel somewhat refreshed to see other Japanese in such a foreign place and his pleasure shows.]
Are there hotels near by? I think I may have to take up some sort of housing at least...until I can get back.
There are hotels, but there are also apartment-type foundations. [He was still adjusting to that.] They're in this district, but there are places closer to homes in the lower district, but they have more rooms.
...Yes. It appears you can. This is apparently my second time here, but I bear no memories of my first stay - and the place doesn't always do that from what I've been told.
Has anyone told you anything yet?
Reply
No, actually. You're the first person I've met...here. So far.
[Peers about]
...I think it's safe to guess we're under the ocean somehow?

[Where to begin?]

...His majesty - no one - protecting - Auurrgh.

Sorry about that. It's been a long day.
[All of this information is a bit much and he tries his best to stomach it]
...I don't doubt this place is somehow...magical. It's good to know things will go as planned, regardless.
Oh! [He extends a hand somewhat tentatively] How rude of me. My name is Kururugi Suzaku. Thank you for your help so far.

It's quite alright. [Shit happens!]
Pleasure to meet you, Kururugi. I'm Miroku. [A subtle bow.]
